Who I am…

                           

So starts your journey. One traveler, with countless dreams, many fears, little time, and one hope. Your path is unclear but your fate is decided. And such a fate is this, to honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, revere the king, and breath your last for His Glory. For you are called by God to the frontlines, placed at the forefront of the battle. Do not pursue heroism for one moment, instead seek servanthood. Make a pact to die to yourself, and to live for Christ. Let not my words deceive you, brothers, for I am a wretched man. In seeking humility, so often I dishonor Christ in selfish decadence. Making masks to hide behind, thwarting my true identity. However, God is not tainted by my inconsistency, nor does he damn me to the hell I deserve. For it is through His very Son that I am justified and by His blood I am cleansed. Christ’s benevolence is eternal and His grace and forgiveness know no end. It is for this very reason my fate stands as stated. To give anything less than my whole life to Christ is to spit in the face of the one man who was beaten and nailed to a cross, having the Almighty God turn his head away, sending himself to the very pit of hell, beyond all human recognition of pain and suffering, so that I may live life eternally. You see is not by preference that we should serve Him, it is by necessity that we are called to give our lives. Will you, now, allow such necessity purge your heart of selfish ambition and venture to the ends of the earth in response to His calling. Grace and Peace friends…
